LAYERED LETTUCE SALAD 
Lettuce, shredded
1 med. onion
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
2 c. mayonnaise
Shredded cheese
Bacon bits

Layer lettuce, onion, and peas in a salad bowl. Make at least 2 layers and top each with mayonnaise then shredded cheese. On top layer sprinkle bacon bits before serving. Refrigerate overnight or at least 2-3 hours before serving. Unused salad will keep refrigerate (untossed) for 2-3 days. Delicious.
