3/4 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 eggs

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg, add flour, mix. Drop by 1/2 teaspoon on greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Put on bottom rack until edges are brown. Then place on top rack for 5 minutes each rack. Remove from cookie sheet with spatula right away. Makes about 6 dozen.
