TURTLES 
1/2 lb. soft caramels
1 c. pecan halves
2 tbsp. heavy cream
1/2 pkg. Baker's chocolate

Melt caramels in cream over hot water. Cool 10 minutes. Place nuts on waxed paper in groups of three. Spoon caramel mixture over nuts, leaving the tips showing. Let stand until set, about 1/2 hour. Melt chocolate over hot water. Cool to lukewarm and spread over caramel.
