MOM-MOM'S MAC AND CHEESE
(Italian Style)
 
1 (1 lb.) pkg. Cheddar cheese (Cracker Barrel)
1 (1 lb.) box elbow macaroni
1 (28 oz.) can Hunt's tomato sauce
1 1/2 c. diced onions
1 tbsp. butter
6 slices pre-wrapped Velveeta cheese

Saute onions in butter until soft, drain, cook macaroni to directions, 6 minutes. Drain. Dice Cheddar cheese. Pour macaroni in baking dish (13x9x2). Add Cheddar cheese and stir. Add onions and tomato sauce, stir. Top with Velveeta slices. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes until cheese is brown.
