EASY PIGS IN A BLANKET 
Easy family meal with less preparation than the normal rolled pigs in a blanket!

2 lb. ground beef
1 cup rice
1 small onion, chopped
salt and pepper
1 large head of cabbage
1 (15 oz.) can petite diced tomatoes
2 (15 oz. ea.) cans tomato sauce
1 (15 oz.) can of sauerkraut (optional)

Place hamburger in large bowl. Add rice, onion, a little salt and pepper. Mix with hands until well blended. Roll hamburger mixture into meatball sizes and set aside.

Chop up cabbage into medium size pieces. Place half of cabbage in the bottom of slow cooker. Put meatballs on top. Put layer of diced tomatoes then place rest of cabbage. Next put rest of cabbage. Put in tomato sauce and sauerkraut, if desired.

Cook on low temperature for 6 hours or high for 4 hours.
