CHICKEN CURRY 
4 slices fried bacon
1 lg. onion, sliced
3 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. curry powder
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. applesauce
2 tbsp. catsup
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 cans beef broth
6 chicken breasts, boiled until done

Saute onion in small amount of bacon grease. In a bowl mix flour, curry powder and sugar together. Then add 2 cans beef broth. Add onions, applesauce, catsup and lemon juice. Bring to a boil and simmer 15 minutes. Add chicken that has been cut into smaller pieces and the bacon. Simmer until ready to serve over rice. (Add water if chicken curry becomes too thick.) Serves 4-6.
