CORNBREAD MUFFINS 
1 c. cornmeal (stone ground)
1/3 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar

Mix together dry ingredients. Add 1 egg and 1 cup buttermilk. Mix only until all dry ingredients are blended. Pour into greased muffin pan that has been preheated in hot oven. Bake at 450. Makes 8 large or 10 small. Bake about 15-20 minutes or until browned.
