OATMEAL CARMELITAS 
1 c. flour
1 c. quick cooking rolled oats
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 c. (6 oz. pkg.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 c. caramel ice cream topping
3 tbsp. flour

In large mixer bowl combine flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, soda, salt and melted butter. Blend well at low speed to form crumbs. Press 1/2 crumbs into 11 x 7 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate bits. Pour caramel - flour mix over chips. Cover with remaining crumbs. Bake 15-20 minutes.
