CHOCOLATE CREAM COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. butter (1 1/2 cubes)
2 tbsp. water
12 oz. chocolate chips
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

FROSTING:

3 c. powdered sugar (sifted if you wish)
1/3 c. butter
1/8 tsp. peppermint extract
1/4 c. milk

Melt butter and brown sugar in the water over medium heat. Melt chocolate chips and stir in. Sift flour, baking soda and salt. Add and stir well. Drop by spoonfuls on greased pan. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

Make frosting by mixing powdered sugar, butter, peppermint extract, milk and dash of salt. Spread frosting on bottom of one cookie; top with another cookie to make a sandwich.
