BROCCOLI SALAD 
1 lg. head broccoli
1 purple onion
1/4 lb. fried bacon
1/4 lb. grated cheddar

DRESSING:

1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. vinegar

Wash broccoli; drain. Cut into bite sized pieces and small florets. Slice onion into thin rings (use amount to taste). Toss broccoli and onions in salad bowl. Top with crumbled fried bacon and shredded cheese. Blend dressing ingredients well. Pour over salad at serving time.
