BREAKFAST CASSEROLE 
6 slices bread
1 lb. sausage
1 1/2 cups grated cheese
5 eggs
3 cups milk
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp. dry mustard

Trim crust from 6 slices of bread. Butter bread and cut into strips. Line large casserole dish with bread. Brown 1 lb. sausage. Drain well on paper towel. Spread over bread. Grate cheese, sprinkle over sausage. Beat eggs with milk, salt, pepper, and dry mustard. Pour over sausage mixture. Let sit in refrigerator 8 hours at least before cooking.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes. Can be frozen after setting for 8 hours. before cooking.
