FUNNEL CAKES 
2 beaten eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Powdered sugar
Syrup
Oil

Combine eggs and milk. Add all dry ingredients and beat until smooth. Put 1/2 inch of oil in large skillet. Heat. Holding finger over funnel opening put 1/2 cup batter in funnel. Dribble into hot grease. Remove when golden brown. Sprinkle with sugar or syrup. An old Pennsylvania Dutch recipe.
