GREEN BEANS 
6 slices bacon, cut crosswise into 1/2-inch strips
2 (9 oz.) pkgs. frozen flat green beans
1/2 to 2/3 c. water
Salt and pepper

In large skillet, fry bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels and set aside. Discard all bacon fat from skillet. Add beans and water to skillet. Cover and cook until beans are tender. Sprinkle with bacon bits; season with salt and pepper. Spoon into serving bowl. Serves 6.
