ROLLY POLLIES 
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of salt

CINNAMON MIXTURE:

2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs and beat. Add dry ingredients, blend well. Chill dough. Roll into small balls and dip into sugar/cinnamon mixture. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
