SOFT PRETZELS 
4 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. water
1 pkg. dry yeast
Coarse salt
Butter

Mix flour, water, and yeast together. Knead dough. Roll out into a long tube and cut into 18 even pieces. Roll individual pieces and form into pretzel shapes. Place on greased cookie sheets. Brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with salt. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Broil if necessary. Serve hot.
