GERMAN STYLE POTATO SALAD 
Serves 25 people.

1/2 lb. bacon, diced
Salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 c. water
Flour to thicken
1 lg. onion, diced
1 c. vinegar
1 1/2 c. sugar
Celery seed
5 lb. potatoes, boiled

Fry bacon and onion, combine potatoes and bacon. Add flour to bacon drippings and stir, add other ingredients and boil thoroughly. Pour over potato mixture, mix well and keep warm.
