PUMPKIN PIE 
1 can pumpkin
1 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, slightly beaten

Combine above ingredients in a pan and cook on stove for about 5 minutes. Pour into a pie shell and bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Then continue baking at 400 degrees until knife comes clean when inserted into middle of pie.

PIE CRUST:

2 c. flour
3/4 c. Crisco
1 tsp. salt
5 or 6 tbsp. ice water

Combine flour and salt. With pastry blender, cut shortening into flour until it resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle 5 or 6 tablespoons of cold water, one tablespoon at a time, into flour mixture, mixing lightly with fork until pastry is just moist enough to hold together. Shape into 2 balls. Roll out on floured board. Makes 2 crusts.
