SAUSAGE IN PASTRY 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. butter
2 c. flour
1 lb. smoked sausage, cut into 1/2 inch pieces

Combine cream cheese and butter, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended. Add flour, mix well. Shape into ball; chill.

Divide pastry in half. On lightly floured surface, roll each pastry half to 12x15 inch rectangle; cut into 3 inch squares. Place sausage pieces in center of each pastry square. Bring edges together, pressing to seal. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees 20 minutes. Serve with hot mustard. Approximately 40 appetizers.
