SIMPLE SPICY BLACK BEANS! | |
2 (15 oz. ea.) cans black beans 1 tablespoon olive oil 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (to taste) 1/4 teaspoon paprika 1/8 teaspoon onion powder dash salt (to taste) dash pepper (to taste) Heat oil over medium heat in a medium-sized saucepan. Drain black beans, but do not rinse (you still want a little of that liquidy residue to remain), and add to saucepan. Stir in chili powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Continue stirring over medium heat for about 8 to 10 minutes, then serve! Very simple but tastes great! Wonderful side dish, filler for tacos or burritos, or great with quesadillas! (My favorite: over cheese quesadillas, with Spanish rice, salsa, dairy sour cream and guacamole on the side - yum!) Submitted by: Adriana |
