BREAST MEAT CHICKEN FINGER OR
COATED FISH
 
1 c. flour
1 tbsp. oil
1 egg, separated
1/2 pt. beer

Season to taste with salt and pepper. Combine flour, oil, egg yolk and seasonings; add beer. Mix thoroughly. Let stand 1 hour. Add egg white. Beat thoroughly again. Dip meat or fish in batter, then deep fry until golden brown. Place chicken or fish on broiler and place in oven for about 20 minutes without cover at 325 degrees.
