ICE CREAM COOKIE PIE 
1 pkg. Oreo cookies
1/2 c. butter, melted
1/2 gal. ice cream
1/2 c. butter
1 can evaporated milk
1 c. sugar

Crush and pat cookies and melted butter in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Let cool and spread slightly softened ice cream on cookie mixture. Freeze for 6 hours.

In a saucepan, melt 2 squares unsweetened chocolate and 1/2 cup of butter, evaporated milk and sugar. Let topping boil for 10 minutes and spread on top of ice cream layer. Freeze again, sprinkle with nuts and serve with Cool Whip.
