2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
1 tbsp. corn syrup
1/4 c. peanut butter
2 c. oatmeal

In a heavy saucepan, melt butter and add sugar, cocoa and milk. Add corn syrup. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 3 minutes. Stir in peanut butter until smooth. Stir in oatmeal until well blended. Remove from heat and beat mixture until slightly thickened. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls on wax paper.
