PINEAPPLE BANANA SALAD 
1 lg. pkg. lemon Jello
16 marshmallows or 1 1/2 c. miniature
4 c. boiling water
1 (#2) can crushed pineapple, drained (reserve)
4 diced bananas

Make Jello; let cool. Add marshmallows when partially set. Add fruit.

TOPPING:

1 c. pineapple juice
1/2 c. white sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp. butter
Dash of salt

Heat juice. Add sugar and flour mixed. Cook until thick. Add hot mixture to beaten eggs, butter, and salt. Let cool. Make 1 package Dream Whip according to directions. Fold into topping; spread on top of set gelatin. Top with crushed nuts. Serves 10.

1 cup Cool Whip may be substituted.
