SCOTTISH GINGERBREAD 
3 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. honey
2 tsp. powdered ginger
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. baking powder
Salt
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1/3 c. dark molasses
1 c. raisins
1 c. currants
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. crystallized ginger

Melt together molasses, honey, sugar, butter and set aside to cool. Sift together all dry ingredients. Beat eggs and milk together. Pour the melted ingredients into the dry; add egg/milk mixture and beat all together until free of lumps. Stir in fruits. Grease 2 loaf pans. Pour batter in and bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
