DINNER ROLLS 
5 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. milk (sweet)
1/2 c. sugar
1 yeast cake

Heat milk with shortening; cool to lukewarm and then add yeast cake. Combine flour, sugar, and milk mixture to make dough. Let rise in refrigerator 3 to 4 hours or overnight. Take out and knead. Roll out dough, make rolls and let rise 3 to 4 hours. Bake in oven at 350 degrees until done.
