FAMILY'S FAVORITE DINNER ROLLS | |
5-6 c. self-rising flour 1/2 c. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. salt 2 pkg. yeast 1 1/4 c. water 1/2 c. milk 1/3 c. butter 2 eggs In large bowl thoroughly mix 2 cups flour, sugar and undissolved yeast. In another saucepan mix water, milk and butter. Heat over low flame until liquid is very warm. Gradually add dry ingredients; beat 2 minutes. Add eggs and 1/2 of flour; beat again until soft dough. On floured board roll and cut out into biscuit form. Melt butter. Pour over this. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 450 degrees. |
