ANGELIC BROWNIES 
1 stick + 2 1/2 tbsp. butter
2 1/2 c. granulated sugar
5 eggs (med. only)
1 1/4 c. flour, firmly packed
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
7 tbsp. cocoa

Cream butter. Add sugar gradually and blend until light and fluffy. Add eggs and mix well. Sift flour, salt and cocoa together. Add to mixture and blend well. Add vanilla; mix.

Pour into well-greased and floured 9x13 inch pan (fill higher in the middle). Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Spread glaze on warm brownies.

GLAZE:

1/2 box or 2 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. butter
3-4 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. Karo syrup
3 tbsp. milk
Pinch salt

Blend all ingredients and spread on warm brownies.
