JIFFY FUDGE 
1 2/3 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. evaporated milk
1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/4 lb. miniature marshmallows
1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Butter a 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan, combine sugar, butter, salt and milk in 2 quart saucepan. Bring to boil on medium heat, then cook 5 minutes, stirring all the time. Remove from heat, add chocolate chips, marshmallows and vanilla. Beat at once on Number 5 speed about 1 1/2 minutes, only until mixture will hold shape. Blend in nuts (optional). Pour into pan. Cool - cut in squares. Makes about 4 dozen pieces.
