PICKLED GREEN BEANS 
2 lb. whole green beans
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
4 cloves garlic
4 head of dill
2 1/2 c. water
2 1/2 c. white vinegar
1/4 c. salt

Pack 1/4 of green beans into each of 4 sterilized jars.

Bring vinegar, salt, and water to a boil. Pour liquid over beans. Sprinkle top of liquid with 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Place dill on top.

Seal and sterilize in hot water bath for 10 minutes.

Makes a great zesty snack or stirer for martinis.
