HAROLD'S BEAN STEW 
3 jars mixed beans
3 lb. ham, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1/2 tsp. ground pepper
1 can chopped celery leaves
6 carrots, sliced

Cook pared carrots whole 15 minutes. Slice. Mix all ingredients in turkey roaster. Bake at 250-275 degrees for 2 hours. Allow to cool and refrigerate overnight. Cook again the next day 2 hours and serve.

NOTE: This whole thing cost about $20.00, served 15 men and had 1 1/2 quart left over.
