Prepare a chocolate cake of your choice.

WHITE WHIP ICING:

1 c. milk
1 c. shortening
1 c. granulated sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Make white sauce of flour and milk. Cook then cool completely. Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla. Mix thoroughly with milk mixture and beat until fluffy. Icing the cake is any way you like.

The granulated sugar sometimes makes the icing gritty, but powdered sugar does not work.
