CRUST FOR FRIED PIES 
5 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. sugar
1 c. Crisco
1 egg
1 can Pet milk

This is enough crust for 40 pies. Mix well and knead until the dough is workable. Pinch off a small amount; roll out to 6-inches in diameter.

Place your favorite filling inside, about 1/3 cup of filling. Fold over, seal edges tightly, press edges with a fork so they look pretty. Deep fry. Eat. Mmmm Good!

Great recipe. Didn't make 40 pies,but did put some that hadn't been fried yet in the freezer for a later date,and when I fried them they were just as good as the fresh made ones. Husband loves to take them in his lunches.
