RAISIN BRAN LOAF BREAD 
1 c. sugar
3 c. all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. All Bran cereal
1 c. raisins or cranberries
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
2 c. buttermilk

Sift the first 4 ingredients several times to mix thoroughly. Add the All-Bran, then the raisins and nuts. Stir in the buttermilk. Bake in two 8 x 4 inch waxed lined loaf pans at 300 degrees for 1 hour. Yield: 2 loaves (16 slices each). Approximately 105 calories per serving.
