CANDIED SWEET POTATOES 
) sweet potatoes
1/2 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. water
1/2 tsp. salt

Cut sweet potatoes into 1/2 inch slices. Mix brown sugar, butter, water and salt in an 8 inch skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until smooth and bubbly. Add sweet potatoes. Stir gently until glazed and heated through. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
