2 c. brown sugar 2 c. granulated sugar 3/4 c. soft butter 1 c. vegetable shortening 4 eggs 3 c. flour 3 c. uncooked oats 1 c. chocolate chips 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. baking soda 2 c. coconut 2 c. raisins 1 c. chopped nuts Cream together sugar, butter, and shortening. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, salt, and soda. Beat into first mixture. Add remaining ingredients and knead into first mixture. Drop by spoonful on non-stick baking sheet. Bake 8 minutes at 350 degrees. Enjoy. May be kept in refrigerator and baked as you wish. |
