CHOCOLATE PUDDING (IN CHOCOLATE
SAUCE)
 
4 oz. self-rising flour
3 oz. butter
3 to 4 oz. soft brown sugar
2 med. to lg. eggs
1 (2 oz.) cocoa
1/2 tsp. vanilla essence (extract)

SAUCE:

2 oz. cocoa
2 to 3 oz. soft brown sugar
3/4 pt. hot water

Beat butter and sugar until smooth. Gradually add sieved cocoa, vanilla, beaten eggs and sieved flour. Mix until light and smooth. Beat for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Use milk if needed. Pour into a large shallow dish.
