BUTTERMILK PIE 
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
1 stick soft butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Dash of salt
Grated nutmeg

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Soften butter; add sugar and cream well. Add flour, eggs, buttermilk, lemon juice, vanilla and salt; mix. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle nutmeg lightly over top. Bake for 1 hour or until top is golden brown.
