PORK POCKETS | |
2 1/2-3 lbs. ground pork 1 med. onion 1/3 bell pepper 1 can of water chestnuts 3 garlic cloves or garlic powder 3 tbsp. soy sauce Salt and pepper Won Ton Wraps (3 inch sq.) Chop (med.) onion, pepper, garlic and water chestnuts and add to the ground pork. Mix well - add soy sauce and salt and pepper. Mix. Put ground pork into a won ton wrap and fold corners in. Place in pan with hot oil. Fry both sides. Pork cooks quickly. Repeat until all pork is used - approximately 75 pork pockets. Serve with soy sauce, hot mustard or catsup. Left over meat is good boiled as patties. Meat freezes well. |
