CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRIES 
2 1/2 boxes powdered sugar
2 sticks butter, melted
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. salt
1 c. coconut
3 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped
3 (10 oz.) jars maraschino cherries, drained

Mix all ingredients together except cherries. Mixture will be stiff. Pinch off enough dough to cover cherries. Chill covered cherries until hard (overnight). Cover with the following chocolate mixture. 1/2 to 3/4 block paraffin wax

Melt over low heat in double boiler, keep hot. Put cherries on toothpicks and dip into chocolate. Makes 100 or more chocolate covered cherries.
