GOLDEN POUND CAKE | |
3 sticks butter 2 c. sugar 6 eggs 2 c. flour 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. lemon 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. milk Blend butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Blend in flavoring and milk, add flour, one cup at a time. Blend the baking soda with the last cup of flour. Beat until batter is fluffy. Grease and flour pan, put in cold oven and set temperature at 325 degrees. Bake 1 1/2 hours. Do not open oven door. |
