APPLE TORTE 
2 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1 c. butter
Pinch of salt (optional)

TOPPING:

12 apples, peeled and sliced
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 (3 oz.) pkg. French vanilla pudding

Arrange apple slices over crust. Mix sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over apples. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Prepare pudding according to package directions and pour over the hot apple torte when taken out of the oven. You can sprinkle with additional cinnamon if desired.
