GLAZED DOUGHNUTS 
4 pkgs. dry yeast
1/2 c. sugar
2 beaten eggs
5 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter

Mix together as for any other doughnut batter. Let rise 20 minutes. Work down and roll out - cut. Place on greased cookie sheet, cover and let rise.

Heat oil to 350 degrees (oil should be 2 inches deep or more). Fry until golden brown on both sides. Glaze while hot for best results.

GLAZE:

Mix 2 pounds powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons flour and enough warm water to make a thick glaze.
