PECAN COCOONS 
1 c. chopped pecans
2 1/4 c. sifted all purpose flour
5 tbsp. superfine granulated sugar
3/4 c. melted butter

Mix 1 cup chopped pecans with 2 1/4 cups sifted all purpose flour, 5 tablespoons superfine granulated sugar; stir in 3/4 cups melted butter. Mold the dough into little logs, 1 inch long. Bake at 275 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until tan. Cool on rack; roll in superfine granulated sugar. Makes 3 dozen.
