QUAKER NATURAL CHOCOLATE
CHIPPERS
 
1 1/4 c. (2 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. Quaker 100% natural cereal, any flavor
2 c. Quaker Oats, uncooked
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Beat butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla; mix well. Add combined flour, baking soda and salt. Mix well. Stir in cereal, oats and chocolate pieces.

Drop by scant 1/4 cupfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 2 minutes, remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Store tightly covered. 2 1/2 dozen.
