LAYERED CASSEROLE 
2 cans tomato sauce
1 c. rice
1 can corn
1 lb. hamburger
1 c. chopped onion
4 to 5 bacon slices (optional)
3/4 c. water
Salt and pepper

In 3 or 4 quart covered casserole dish, pour 1 cup rice. Layer on top 1 can drained corn. Mix 1/2 cup water with 1 can tomato sauce; pour over all. Next, put 1 cup chopped onions on top. Layer on top of this 1 pound hamburger; salt and pepper to taste. Then pour 1 can tomato sauce mixed with 1/4 cup water over all.

Optional: Bacon slices on top. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove cover and continue baking 15 to 20 minutes until bacon is done.
