JEWISH POUND CAKE 
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
4 eggs
1/2 c. orange juice
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
4 med. apples, sliced thin
5 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Beat eggs and sugar; beat, add juice and oil. Beat and gradually add dry ingredients. Beat well. Combine sugar and cinnamon. Peel and slice apples thin.

Grease a tube pan (large). Pour 1/2 batter, 1/2 apples and 1/2 cinnamon mix. Pour other 1/2 batter and top with apples and cinnamon mix. Bake for 1-1 1/2 hours at 325-350 degrees. Makes a large cake.
