3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. Nestle's cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 (12 oz.) pkg. Nestle's Toll House morsels, divided
1/2 c. nuts, chopped (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In 2 1/2 to 3-quart saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Remove from heat. Add sugar, flour, Nestle's cocoa, baking powder, salt, eggs and vanilla extract. Stir with spoon until batter is well blended and smooth.

Stir in 1 1/2 cups Nestle's Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels and nuts if desired. Spread in 13x9 inch baking pan. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup of morsels. Bake 30-35 minutes until set. Cool on wire rack. Cut in 2-inch squares.
