1 med. size pkg. dates, pitted
1 c. flour
1/4 c. butter
1 (13 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. nuts, ground (optional)
1 egg white

Mix pastry (2nd, 3rd, and 4th item). Wrap each date in the pastry. Drop each wrapped date in the unbeaten egg white. Roll in the sugar and nuts. Bake at 325 degree oven for 15 minutes.
