CREAM CHEESE TARTS 
1/2 c. butter
3 oz. cream cheese
1 c. sifted flour
1/4 c. jelly
1 egg yolk
2 tbsp. milk
1/4 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter and cheese until well blended and fluffy, add flour and knead to a smooth dough. Wrap and chill for several hours. Roll dough 1/8 inch thick into a rectangle cut into 2 inch squares. Place 1/4 teaspoon jelly on each square. Fold edge over completely covering jelly press down to seal and roll the squares diagonally. Turn into a crescent shape. Brush with egg yolk and milk mixture, sprinkle with nuts. Place on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen.
