FRENCH FRIED CAULIFLOWER 
1 head cauliflower, broken into individual florets

EGG BATTER:

1/2 c. milk
1 beaten egg
Salt and pepper to taste
Enough flour to make batter of desired consistency

Cook cauliflower until done, yet firm. Cool. Coat each piece with batter and deep fry in hot fat until brown. (A taste treat as a vegetable, hearty enough to be a meat substitute.)
